Aloft Air Aware is a new platform developed by Aloft, in partnership with Pilot Institute, for drone pilots to safely and compliantly fly drones. This app provides comprehensive airspace information, including authoritative data from Aloft, an FAA-approved UAS Service Supplier for LAANC. With over 10 million square miles of local, state, and federal advisory information, pilots can easily access takeoff/landing restrictions and other safety information through Aloft's exclusive Geo layers.
One of the standout features of Air Aware is the incorporation of Aloft's Notify & Fly system, which allows pilots to read and share live flight volumes in real-time. This feature ensures complete situational awareness and deconfliction during flights. Additionally, the app offers links to free resources provided by Pilot Institute, such as training videos, FAA TRUST information, and free stickers for labeling drones.
